Vinen er Danie Steytler S sidste topvin pgr hans sygdom.
Blev præsenteret på Winemakers Guild i oktober 2017 og opnåede den absolut højeste pris for alle vine mellem 11.000 til 17.000 rand på 6 stk.
Der blev solgt 60 kasser og resten af 200 kasser har jeg fået fingre.
Dette er toppen af poppen omkring vine. Igen slår Kaapzicht med deres Steytler Vision mange vine der er meget dyrere med mange kilometer.
Blend Information
50% Pinotage, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot
The three cultivars were vinified and aged separately in small French oak barrels for 28 months, personally selected by the winemaker and then blended together.
Tasting Notes
Power & concentration, within a tightly woven structure showing lots of promise.
Generous cassis and black berries as well as vanilla and spice from oak.
Complex & multi-dimensional.
In the Vineyard
Vines planted in weathered granite topsoil on a layer of gravel, above a crumbly clay sub-soil. Yield of 5 tons per hectare.
